Dead by Daylight เกมแนวเอาชีวิตรอดสยองขวัญแบบ Asymmetrical Multiplayer ได้ประกาศเพิ่มตัวละคร Jason Voorhees จากภาพยนตร์ Friday the 13th เข้ามาเป็นหนึ่งใน Killer ที่เล่นได้ในวันที่ 16 มิถุนายนนี้ แม้ว่าเกม Friday the 13th: The Game จะปิดให้บริการไปแล้วเนื่องจากปัญหาด้านลิขสิทธิ์ที่ซับซ้อน แต่การมาถึงของ Jason ใน Dead by Daylight ก็ถือเป็นการกลับมาที่แฟนๆ รอคอย และเป็นการเสริมทัพตัวละครสยองขวัญชื่อดังที่ก่อนหน้านี้ได้เพิ่ม Leatherface, Pinhead และ Chucky เข้ามาแล้ว ทำให้ Dead by Daylight กลายเป็นเหมือน "Super Smash Bros." ของเหล่าตัวร้ายในหนังสยองขวัญ
